In accordance with Article IV section 3 and Article V section 1 (d) of the City Charter, 2013 revised, notice is hereby given of the enactment and approval of the following named ordinance:
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS GRANTING LEAVE TO WITHDRAW TO THE COMMUNICATION TITLED “FROM THE BUDGET DIRECTOR SUBMITTING AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, FISCAL YEAR 2023 – 2024, AND AUTHORIZING A PROJECT FOR THE CITY’S SETTLEMENT OF THE RICHARD COX V. CITY OF NEW HAVEN ET AL. LITIGATION IN THE AMOUNT OF UP TO $16,000.000 TO PAY FOR THE CITY’S SHARE OF THE SETTLEMENT” SUBMITTED ON JULY 5, 2023.
Said ordinance is on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, 200 Orange St, Room 202, where it may be inspected, or copies applied for, and reference thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned ordinance was enacted by the Board of Alders on September 19,2023. Approved by the Mayor on September 25, 2023.
Said ordinance became operative and in effect upon Mayor’s signature.
