In accordance with Article IV section 3 and Article V section 1 (d) of the City Charter, 2013 revised, notice is hereby given of the enactment and approval of the following named ordinance:
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE # 1 AUTHORIZING FISCAL YEAR 2022 – 2023 BUDGET TRANSFER #131 – 23‑1, TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE CITY GENERAL FUND TO THE LITIGATION SETTLEMENT ACCOUNT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $16,000,000, WITH THE FINAL AMOUNT TO BE DETERMINED THOUGH THE FISCAL YEAR 2022 – 2023 GENERAL FUND CLOSING PROCESS, FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF THE RICHARD COX CASE.
Said ordinance is on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, 200 Orange St, Room 202, where it may be inspected, or copies applied for, and reference thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned ordinance was enacted by the Board of Alders on September 19, 2023, by a vote of 25 yeas and 0 nays. Approved by the Mayor on September 25, 2023.
Said ordinance became operative and in effect upon Mayor’s signature.
