Alfred Doctor, 65 of New Haven, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Husband of Betty Doctor and born to the late Alfred and Freezie Doctor on October 17, 1946 in Eutawville, SC. Alfred retired from Connecticut Container. Besides his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory; son, Tyrone Doctor of New Haven, CT; daughters, Martha (Kenny) Douglas of Meriden, CT, Grace Walker of Jacksonville, FL, Kanesha Taste and Tiffany Doctor both of New Haven, CT and April Pringle of Hartford, CT; sisters, Emily (Shilow) Broughton, SC, Rosa (Jesse) Davis of Hamden, CT Essaline (Lewis) William of FL, Jannie B. Carter of Hamden, CT; 15 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, John Geathers, Leroy, Joe William, and Charles Doctor. A wake will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Body Of Christ Assembly,241 Winchester Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511 from 6 – 9PM.
