Arvel Leslie Jr., 52, of New Haven, departed this life May 28.
Born in New Haven on Jan. 10, 1959, he was the son of the late Arvel Leslie Sr. and Jeanette Leslie Stokes.
He is survived by his daughters, Tara and Rashel Leslie; a sister, Arvela Leslie-Cozart; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Aaron Leslie (Karen).
A celebration of Mr. Leslie’s life and legacy will be held Monday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. An online guestbook is available at www.curvinkcouncil.com.
