Christine Irving, 74, of New Haven, departed this life November 30, 2011.
She was the widow of Tony Irving.
Born in Montgomery, AL, February 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Saul and Ethel Stovall.
She is survived by her son, Wendell Stovall; a sister, Annie Ruth Bailey; brothers, Saul Stovall, Jr. and Fred Stovall; grandchildren, Wendell Stovall, Jr. and Marquitta Stovall; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Irving’s life and legacy will be held Monday, December 5, 2011, at 12:00 P.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 11:00 – 12:00. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
