Effie Mae Bryant, 74, of New Haven, departed this life May 28, 2010.
Born in Roanoke, AL, February 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Effie Mae McPherson Clark.
She was employed at the former American Linen Co. for numerous years.
Ms. Bryant leaves to cherish her memory, a son Henry L. Bryant (Edyth); nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
A celebration of Ms. Bryant’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
