Estella Purser, 76 of New Haven CT, passed away on December 16, 2010. Born to the late Septimus Beckford and Lillian Hextall on June 4, 1934 in Mason Hall, St. Mary Jamaica. Estella leaves to cherish her memory; son, Dr. Barris Malcolm (Loris Sterling) of New Haven, CT; brother, Radcliffe Sharpe of Port Maria St. Mary, Jamaica; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Noelle, Racquel and Tara; special niece, Janet Jacob of Ocoee, FL; also survived by 2 nephews, 2 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew. She was predeceased by 1 sister. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 11AM at First Baptist Church, 205 Edwards Street, New Haven, CT.
