Eugene L. Chavis, 53, of New Haven born on September 13, 1961 in Lumberton, NC to Gloria (Chavis) Perkins of New Haven, passed away February 6, 2015 at CT Hospice.
He leaves to cherish his memory Step-father Harry Perkins, son Eugene Lee Chavis, and brother Michael Chavis all of New Haven, and a host of friends and relatives. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services; 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511. Interment is private.
