Gerald Edmondson, 59, of New Haven, departed this life September 7, 2010.
Born in New Haven, CT, August 25, 1951, he was the son of Florence Wright and the late Amos Black.
Mr. Edmondson was previously employed by the New Haven Fire Department as a Firefighter.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lauren Edmondson; his companion, Patti Ann Williams; a son, Lamont A. Edmondson; daughters, Lea L. Edmondson and LaVonna D. Williams; two grandchildren; an uncle, Jimmie Johnson; an aunt, Lola Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Edmondson’s life and legacy will be held Monday, September 20, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
