James Benson, III, 30, of New Haven, departed this life February 26, 2010.
Born in New Haven, CT, May 19, 1979, he was the son of the late James Benson, Jr. and Margaret Lowery. He was employed at XPect Discount Stores. He leaves to cherish his memory, his companion, Kamilah Hargett; a son, Tyrese Benson; a daughter, Kaveah Benson; brothers, Jonathan Benson and Darren Parker; sisters, Tynisha Lowery, Leak Parker and Shavonne Benson; nephews, Tyshawn and Tymaine Lowery; a goddaughter, Justice Lowery; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Benson’s life will be held Friday, March 5, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Church of God of Prophecy, 155 Grand Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
