Jose Antonio Ortiz, 70, of New Haven, departed this life April 10, 2013.
He was the widower of Marta Escobales.
Born in Puerto Rico, December 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Lucas Ortiz and Maria Santiago.
Mr. Ortiz was employed as a Carpenter.
He is survived by his daughters, Marisol and Yajaira Ortiz; a son, Jose Antonio Ortiz; ten brothers; three sisters; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by two brothers.
Funeral service and viewing will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013, from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be private. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
