Prophet Lee Williams, 81, husband of the late Eleanor Jones Williams, of New Haven, CT entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
He was born December 20, 1934 in Whitakers, NC to the late Lena Draughn and Robert C. Williams. He was employed with Sargent Company in New Haven for 38 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Curtis Williams of Middletown, Gary Williams, and Tracy Williams both of New Haven; extended daughter, Renee McLaurin of New Haven, ; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, George, Octavious, and Curtis; and sisters, Gladys, Hestoria “Hess”, and Annie “Sing”.
A celebration of life will take place Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511.
