Rose Ellison, 71 of New Haven, born April 24, 1944 to the late Alex and Mary (Bates) McCoy entered eternal rest July 10, 2015.
She leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Jacob Ellison of New Haven; sons, Anthony Ellison of New Haven, Charles Ellison of Branford, Daryl Ellison of New Haven; daughters, Linda (Charles) Clemons of Bristol, Monica (Gary) Jones of Beacon Falls; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A celebration of her life will take place Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church; 109 Butler Street, New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation Friday at the church from 9:30 — 11:00 AM.
