Theda Bell Pickett, 73, of New Haven, departed this life April 5, 2013.
She was the widow of Burtis Pickett.
Born in Horry County, SC, April 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Melvina Lewis.
Mrs. Pickett was previously employed at American Linen Co. and Matlaws Food Products.
She is survived by brothers, Curtis and Homer Lewis; a sister, Fennie Livingston; and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
A celebration of Mrs. Pickett’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 9:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
