Wracked with jealousy, a 17-year-old woman broke into her 23-year-old boyfriend’s Rosewood Avenue home, stabbed his 22-year-old cousin up to 20 times in his head, arms, and back; and then stabbed the boyfriend “at least six times in his arms and legs,” police reported.
The alleged attack took place around 2:30 a.m. Monday. Police staked out the suspect’s home Monday evening and found her there, at which point she confessed to the crimes, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. They charged her with first-degree assault, burglary, and reckless endangerment. (She had mistaken the cousin for her boyfriend, she said.)
In other police news, Hartman reported that one man included in a list of missing-persons cold cases, 71-year-old Gonzalee Henderson, had in fact not been missing.
And two men, one of them displaying a gun, robbed a Chinese food deliverman of $300 and his Prius on Huntington Avenue at 7:19 p.m. Monday. The Prius has New York plates marked GLX1031.
