Hi Pi Day!

To celebrate, you’re invited on a journey in search of patterns in the randomness of the putatively infinitely-expressed ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Keith Jarrett famously searched for patterns in the randomness of his 1975 solo improvisation performance in Köln, Germany. With a recording of that concert as a guide, WNHH FM’s Dateline New Haven” explored more than 3,000 of pi’s digits in search of new patterns.

Click above to follow along with the recitation of the first 3,200-plus digits of pi with Keith Jarrett’s The Köln Concert playing in the background, on WNHH FM’s“Dateline New Haven.” Click here to subscribe or here to listen to other episodes of Dateline New Haven.”
