Hot town, summer in the city!!
No respect for anyone or anything has led us to this state. We have lost our sense of right and wrong. This is not poverty; it is a culture of narcissism and it afflicts rich and middle and poor-- the manifestation is different but the roots are the same. Our founding fathers would not be proud of what we are doing.

Terrible story and I hope that the young child gets better. The shooter needs to be identified, locked up, no key.

The Supreme Court has decided that everyone who wants to have a gun should be able to open carry a gun.
Gun permits applications have risen astronomically in CT and across the country within the last two years.
And meanwhile mass shootings are increasing at parades, in schools, at churches, synagogues and mosques, in movie theaters, at concerts, and groceries stores, and anywhere else there might be lots of people gathered together.
And street shootings tied to disputes, machismo, gangs, illegal drug commerce, and poverty, are on the rise. Pretty soon, if we don’t start taking gun control seriously, and start restricting the sale and trade of weapons, you won’t be able to get out of bed each day without you or someone you know being impacted by gun violence.
Enough is enough! Our rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is being stolen by the NRA and special interest supporters of the second amendment and those who profit by the manufacturing and sales of weapons.
