A solitary act of courage from the mayor's office--- to call the holiday by its name-- Christmas! Even the Register bravely called it a Christmas tree. Thanks Paul, for calling out the hypocrisy of our leadership and for hailing Christmas and its universal message of the possibility of redemption and peace and goodwill as a good in the world.
And I celebrate Hanukkah and enjoy the Menorah--not the holiday candlesticks--- as part of my faith tradition as well

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Winter Solstice, Happy Three Kings Day, or whatever else you like to celebrate or not during the winter season.
As long as we wish each other happiness during the long winter and short dark dreary days then we are just wishing each other positivity, and thats a good thing.
