We celebrated my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4 in Davenport, Florida, at the Villatel Resort with family and friends! It was a wonderful celebration and enjoyed by all!
Rosa and James have four children, Timothy James Head Sr. (Doreen), Jeffrey B. Head, Wanda G, Ferreira (Darius) and Lisa M. Head. They have 12 grandchildren: Marquis Head Sr. (Maisha), Joshua Ferreira, Timothy James Head Jr., Lawrence Head, Alexis Sutton, Malcolm Head (Samantha), Whittney Teague (Johnnie), Reginald Sutton Jr., Bianca Morrobel (Juan), Kaitlin McClain (John) and Jazzerae Mabry. They have 13 greatgrandchildren!
Rosa and James are happily retired. They are longstanding members of Community Baptist Church and Adoni and are very active in their church homes.
They met at Rosa’s sister’s house — it seems like a lifetime ago. They say the most important qualities in their happy union are forgiveness, honesty, understanding and faith!
