Stefanowski Makes Governor Run Official

Lamont's response has been heralded by many as one of the best in the nation. Now is not the time for Stefanowski, a guy who bounces from party to party and can't even be bothered to vote.

I think he may have a chance against Lamont. However, he is no match for Scooby Doo and Crew who will undoubtedly vanquish him once again.

To piggyback on John Tulin, Stefanowski did not vote for 16 years, from 2001 through 2017. He offered a lame excuse to CTNewsjunkie.com, and has tried to cast himself as an outsider. But his only qualification is that he is willing to put $10 million of his own money into an office that the GOP could not win without such self funding.

Not to say that Lamont is a saint when it comes to being filthy rich, but I tend to prefer the plutocrat who actually kicked Joe Lieberman out of the Democratic Party and forced Nancy Pelosi to oppose the Iraq War as opposed to the plutocrat who was just an international loan shark. Stefanowski's former company, DFC Global, according to Mark Pazniokas, is not even allowed to operate here in Connecticut.

In this lesser of two evils, I choose the evil that withdrew from an all white country club in 2005 or so, instead of the evil that seeks to run as standard-bearer of the party of white supremacy.

This is going to be a long and painful election season, and at the end of it, no one who lives in Fair Haven or Frog Hollow (Hartford) will see any concrete improvements in their life from it.

Neither the president nor any state’s governor has any real control over rising crime or rising inflation both of which are directly related to the pandemic. Don't buy into any false promises that any politician has much control over the global supply chain issues or rising consumer demand due to the pandemic, or rising crime due to increased desperation from poverty and rising cost of living, and increased drug use due to Big Pharma pushing opioids and rising anxiety and depression increasing self medicating substance abuse, and the completion of prison sentences from people incarcerated during the War On Drugs from the 1980’s-1990’s re-entering into a changed society due to the rise of the importance of internet and technology, and the lack of affordable housing and the diminishing of non-college level jobs that pay a living wage.
Until we as a society address these social issues, and the pandemic releases its grip on our economics, we will continue to face these issues, and until we have systemic changes, no politician is going to magically make it all better.

As for Lamont, he is not up to the job and is hiding behind the pandemic. He wishes to rule by fiat and is usurping the powers of the legislative, with the full support of the cowardly legislature. I will not vote for 4 more years of Lamont and will hear what other candidates who come forward have to say . Readers would do well to listen before deciding.

I’m going to vote for Stefanowski because he is a man of real integrity, and he also has promised to abolish Connecticut’s income tax!
