Tubis Tops 1,000 Typos

There's a typo submission form?! This is a game changer.

Oooh, typo catcher, what fun!
Now if you could only make sure NHI's autocorrect feature doesn't change the words when we mistype a word from the most obvious choice to the most obscure. (Every time I try to type the word new it changes it to née, which is a silly autocorrect choice.)

To fill my usual role of raining on everyone's parade, hunting errors in NHI has all the sport of shooting a caged lion. Of course, these days, even huge multinational outfits like CNN, NPR and the NYT are riddled with typographical and grammar errors. Sometimes, even the WSJ. To NHI's great credit, it, unlike those other outfits, has opportunities for quick redress, and does make corrections.

Of course, as the photograph indicates, sometimes the "wrong" word makes the writing much more fun.
