Terrance Granger, 49

Terrance ICE” Granger 49, of New Haven passed away May 22.

Born to the late Leroy and Linda Granger in New Haven, CT on January 8, 1963. He attended James Hillhouse High School and served in the 61st CS MAINT CO EUSA P8 for 4 years. Terrance worked for the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for 25 years. He leaves to cherish his memory; son Terrance TJ” Granger Jr. of Richmond, VA; daughters Taneisha Boo Boo” Granger and T’airra Kota” Granger of New Haven; a family dog Paco, and a special friend Rolanda Smith; brothers Leroy (Veronica) Granger of Hamden, Lee Granger; sisters Lisa Granger, L’Tanya Granger all of New Haven, CT, and Katherine Granger of San Diego, CA; great uncle Charles Burford of Reading, PA; uncles Curtis Jarvis, Edgar Jarvis, and Fred Thompson all of New Haven; aunts Flora Jarvis of New Haven, Cidra Pollenitz of Columbus, OH, and Fran Thompson of Reading, PA; special nephews and nieces Terrence, Joseph , Leroy Jr., Malik , Lee Jr., Chris and L’shandra, L’shae, and great nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. He was affectionately called by all who knew and respected him ICE”. He was loved by his family and community as well. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 9AM at Pitts Chapel UFW Baptist Church, 64 Brewster Street, New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours at the church on Saturday from 8 – 9AM. Interment will be in Hamden Plains. Service by Howard K.
